Last year, we debuted a new look for our magazine, available in print and digital versions. Now we’re excited to show you the new HorseandRider.com.
Here, you’ll find all-new features, including a weekly tip to offer health, horsekeeping, and training advice; a to-do list that provides instructional and motivational features to help you work toward your goals; and “Featured Items” that are mentioned in the print and digital versions of the magazine.
You’ll also find all of your favorite blogs, including Juli Thorson’s Horse Talk; The Thinking Rider, With Jennifer Forsberg Meyer; and the OnStaff at Horse&Rider blog.
We’re really excited to offer our Instagram feed on the site, too. It’s where we give a behind-the-scenes look at office life, what we’re doing on the road, and who we get to meet on our travels.
One of the most engaging parts of the new site is the interactive Conformation Clinic. This department is the longest-running in the history of H&R, and one of the most loved by readers. You can read the judge’s criteria for placing the class, and then drag and drop the three horses into the order you’d place them. Click the button for the official judge’s placing to see how you stacked up. We have feeling this will be really popular with youth judging teams and experienced horsemen alike.
We’re adding new content daily, so be sure to check back often. And let us know what you think, too!
