A counter canter is a piece of horsemanship you can use in every division. This counter-canter drill helps with balance and cadence. Being able to counter canter helps control your horse’s body and also helps keep your horse balanced when you’re riding around. Brad Barkemeyer shows you some of his favorite counter canter drills and an exercise he likes to use during his warm up.
