Introducing Rider to Working the Flag
When you come from a different discipline over to the working cow horse, it’s important to start on the flag before working with an actual cow.

In this week’s OnDemand video Brad Barkemeyer works with a rider who is new to the working cow horse. Before he puts her on a cow he introduces her to working the flag so she can get comfortable riding a cow horse. In this seven-part series, you’ll see the different steps Brad takes before letting a rider work a cow.
