Tomorrow I set out on my latest H&R adventure, to the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma City! I’ll be there to check out the arena action–finals for many of the amateur classes take place during my visit–and to catch up with some of H&R‘s regular contributors and scope out some fresh faces to gather training tips and insights.
Be sure to submit any problem-solver questions you’re dealing with in the comments here or by emailing them to horseandrider@aimmedia.com; I’ll take along a few of them to ask pros for their solutions.
Also, follow this blog and our Horse&Rider Facebook page for an inside look at the winning horses, flashy fashions, and noteworthy stories. Let us know if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see from OKC by commenting here or on Facebook.
Finally, did you know that you can watch the classes live? Check the schedule for the event you want to watch and its location, and then choose either the Performance Arena or the Jim Norick Arena.
This marks the first time I’ve attended the amateur portion of the show (the open week of competition was always my stomping grounds), and it’s the first time I’ve been back to the event in a few years, so I’ll be seeing it all with fresh eyes and bringing the action back to you.
