Jen and I spent the day tracking down competitors in the Colorado sunshine yesterday at the Colorado Super Circuit AQHA Show in Pueblo, getting video, taking photos, and making friends.
We came back to the office today with some really great pointers from trainer Kelly McDowall of Parker, Colorado, on how to get along with fellow competitors in the warm-up pen at a show. In the often over-crowded warm-up pens, competitors doing some fine-tuning on their horses can sometimes make for a stressful situation. In this video clip, though, Kelly tells H&R’s online audience how to manage that stress and have a productive warm-up.
