What You Need to Know About the 2024 Ranch Horse Triple Crown Challenge

The 2024 Ranch Horse Triple Crown Challenge will be June 21 – July 7, 2024 at the APHA World Championship Show in Fort Worth, Texas. Held in at the iconic Will Rogers Memorial Center, the RHTCC is sure to be another terrific event. Just as it was in 2023. The event garnered attention from competitors and spectators alike in 2023, with Horse&Rider OnDemand trainer, Bud Lyon sweeping the field with victories.

Some Background on the RHTCC

Daniel Patton is the founder and creator of the Ranch Horse Triple Crown Challenge. He has partnered with The American Paint Horse Association to offer this event, during the APHA/IRHA World Show.

The International Ranch Horse Association is offering big opportunities to ranch horses and their riders. The Triple Crown Challenge is an event that showcases Ranch Riding, Ranch Rail, and Ranch Trail. With All-Breed classes, Open, Non-Pro, and Youth Divisions, there’s something for everyone!

Big Money for 2024

Classes offered in the RHTCC include:

Open, Non-Pro, and Youth: Ranch Riding, Ranch Rail, and Ranch Trail.

There will be $40,000 worth of guaranteed added money to be split equally between all 6 Open and Non-Pro classes.

Competitors can also expect bonus payouts for the Triple Crown Challenge Champions in the Open, Non-Pro, and Youth who win all 3 classes in their respective division.

$5,000 in Youth Scholarships will also be awarded and is set to be split equally between all 3 Youth classes.
