Al Dunning #ReadyToRide: Left-Itis

Publish date:

Like people, horses have handedness (or sidedness) preference. Most often, your horse prefers his left side. Why? Because we as riders and handlers complete most activities from the left: lead, saddle, mount and dismount. Al Dunning shares how to combat this left-sidedness, or 'left-itis' as he calls it.

Improve your horse's right-side softness with Tommy Garland's Get Softness and Control, a 'Confident Rider' installment.
