The 100X Reining Classic returns to Tulsa Expo Square August 29–September 6, 2026, marking the event’s fourth year in Oklahoma and another slate of classes offering tantalizing opportunities for futurity, stakes, and derby-age horses to add to their lifetime earnings.
The nine-day run brings back the show’s signature classes; The Invitational Futurity, the 100X Stakes, and the NARS Futurity and Derby. New this year is the NRHA South Central Affiliate Regional Championships.
About the 100x Reining Classic
The 100x Reining Classic features the Invitational futurity, an exclusive 3-year-old event built to showcase elite junior stallions and their get.
In past years it has carried a $750,000 guaranteed purse spread across 60-plus placings, and for 2026, 59 stallions are enrolled in the program. The 100X Stakes, its 4-year-old counterpart, has offered a purse north of $350,000 and has 46 stallions enrolled this year.
The fan-favorite Ranch Fuel Super Slide, which scores horses on the length of their sliding stop as they race down the center of the arena, also returns with a $100,000 purse.
New for 2026, the Classic adds the NRHA South Central Affiliate Regional Championships to its schedule. Per the Oklahoma Reining Horse Association, both ancillary slates run alongside the marquee classes and count toward OKRHA year-end points.
