World Finals XIX Recap
The 2026 Cinch RSNC World Finals XIX marked another milestone for our sport. With record-breaking participation and more than $1,300,000 in cash and prizes awarded—including $416,456 on Gold Shootout Friday alone, the largest single-day payout in ranch sorting history—we continue to redefine what’s possible in ranch sorting.
One of the most exciting developments is that ranch sorting now truly offers something for every competitor. Whether your goal is to enjoy a weekend sorting with friends or compete for five-figure payouts, RSNC has created opportunities for every level of rider. The Gold Shootouts continue to raise the bar, giving those who thrive on high-stakes competition the chance to compete for unprecedented prize money while preserving the affordable, family-oriented atmosphere that has always been the foundation of our sport.
This year’s World Finals also raised the bar for the contestant experience. Our new RSNC branding, combined with moving all six sorting pens into the air-conditioned John Justin Arena and historic Will Rogers Coliseum, brought a new level of professionalism and prestige to the event. The new layout improved the flow of the show while giving contestants more time to enjoy everything Fort Worth has to offer.
Events of this size simply aren’t possible without an incredible team. Thank you to our staff, sponsors, producers, contestants, and everyone who worked together to make this year’s World Finals our smoothest and most successful yet. Congratulations to all of our champions!
Looking Ahead to the 2026–2027 Season
While we’re proud of what was accomplished in Fort Worth, our attention has already turned toward making next season even better.
One of the biggest changes for the upcoming season is a restructuring of the National Points Race that will create more excitement throughout the year while placing additional focus on the riders competing for national championships.
We will also begin reviewing #4-rated riders twice each year instead of once, allowing the rating system to stay more current and better reflect contestant performance.
Our Ride TV viewers can also expect enhancements to the livestream experience, with more exciting updates to be announced as the season gets underway.
Upcoming Events
Our next Cinch RSNC Production event is the Northeast Circuit Finals, Aug. 21–23 at Garwood Arena in Columbiana, Ohio. With more than $25,000 in added cash and prizes, there is something for everyone. Every contestant will compete for $13,000 in added cash, while qualified riders who competed in at least five Northeast Circuit qualifiers between Aug. 1, 2025, and Aug. 1, 2026, will compete for an additional $10,000. It’s our way of rewarding the contestants who support producers throughout the season. With excellent footing, quality stalls, and one of the premier facilities in the Northeast, Garwood Arena is the perfect place to kick off the fall season.
Looking ahead to the fall, be sure to mark your calendar for the Congress Super Sort, Oct. 16–18 in Jackson, Ohio. Following another outstanding turnout last year, we’re excited to return for one of the most unique events on our schedule. As an official satellite event of the All American Quarter Horse Congress, contestants have the opportunity to earn the coveted Congress Top 10 Medallions in every class.
