The Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity has already begun at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Center in Nevada, kicking off the Sept. 11–20 run with the derby competition before moving into more limited-age event classes, the futurity, and a horse sale at the end of the week.
Reined cow horse fans are eagerly watching the freshman crop of futurity horses to see which junior sire will make a splash, and which open rider has the best shot at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Championship come October.
