While the full lineup is stacked with talent, we rounded up some names every fan should be watching. These standouts aren’t just sale consignments, they’re legends and rising talents whose stories are already shaping the sport.

Third Edge

Metallic Rebel x Lil Rattler
2018 Red Roan Stallion

The auction starts with Third Edge, a promising stallion as hip no. 1. The 2022 NCHA Horse of the Year, NCHA Hall of Fame inductee, and earner of $342,528, he made his mark by sweeping major titles including the NCHA Open Derby Championship and NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby Co-Championship with $6 Million Rider Wes Galyean. His style: cow-smart, quick-footed, and strong through a run, made him an exciting performer to watch. With two crops of foals on the ground, Third Edge is poised to shape the next wave of cutting horses. Several of his offspring are also included in this dispersal, giving buyers a glimpse of his future legacy.

Tres Chasin Babe PZ

Tres Seis x Babe On The Chase
2019 Sorrel Mare

If there’s a mare that embodies barrel racing royalty, it’s Tres Chasin Babe PZ. The mare has earned more than $592,400, collecting titles like Pink Buckle Futurity Champion, BFA World Futurity Champion, and Ruby Buckle Open Champion. Bred and raced by $5 Million Rider Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi, she has been nothing short of a sensation, consistently placing at the top of the toughest futurities and derbies. Her pedigree is equally impressive: Tres Seis is a proven sire of barrel racing winners, while her dam, Babe On The Chase, banked more than $547,000 herself and continues to produce elite offspring. Tres Chasin Babe PZ’s first foals arrived in 2024, and several are included in this sale, alongside embryos by leading industry stallions.

Hesa Dual Bet

Bet Hesa Cat x RJJ Miss Viagra Pep
2016 Bay Stallion

For reined cow horse buyers, Hesa Dual Bet represents a rare opportunity. The 2016 bay stallion by Bet Hesa Cat and out of RJJ Miss Viagra Pep has lifetime earnings of $212,844 and the title of NRCHA Supreme Reined Cow Horse. Trained and shown by NRCHA $4 Million Rider Corey Cushing, he has collected championships and top finishes across hackamore and derby events, including the NRCHA World Open Hackamore Reserve Championship, NRCHA Western Derby Championship, and a top 10 finish at the NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman. His versatility across rein, herd, and fence work makes him a complete package in the cow horse pen. His first foals arrived in 2024, giving breeders a look at a young stallion with both proven grit and fresh progeny on the horizon.

Smooth Talkin Style

Smooth As A Cat x Stylish Play Lena
2011 Sorrell Stallion

Smooth Talkin Style is making headlines as one of the most influential sires in cutting. He earned $305,284 in the show pen, along with the title of 2015 NCHA Horse of the Year with NCHA $11 Million Rider Lloyd Cox. His career highlights include the 2014 NCHA Futurity Reserve Championship and the 2015 Breeders Invitational Derby Championship, however, his true legacy lies in the breeding barn. Smooth Talkin Style’s offspring have earned more than $9.3 million, with standouts such as Storyteller ($383,249), Baby Talk ($371,086), and Playful Smoothtalker ($302,368). In 2024, he ranked among QData’s Top 10 Leading Cutting Sires, cementing his reputation as a sire whose foals dominate aged events. More than 20 of his progenies will pass through the sale ring at Teton Ridge.

All Spice

Once In A Blu Boon x Show Biz Kitty
2017 Red Roan Mare

The name All Spice carries a lot of weight in the cutting pen. She has amassed $571,049 in lifetime earnings, was crowned the 2020 NCHA Futurity Champion, and earned the 2021 NCHA Horse of the Year honor under the guidance of NCHA $7 Million Rider Adan Banuelos. She continued her dominance with major wins like the American Performance Horseman Cutting Championship in 2023. Her offspring are already turning heads: in 2023, a Smooth Talkin Style filly named Ritetoremainsilent sold for $370,000, earning the highest price of the Western Bloodstock NCHA Futurity Sale.
