Return to the Will Rogers Coliseum

Spanning nearly a month in Fort Worth, the NCHA Super Stakes is one of cutting’s premier events, showcasing the discipline’s top aged event horses. With most of the Will Rogers Coliseum’s renovation complete, the cutters will return to their home-away-from-home with polished facilities that mirror the Dickies Arena across the street.

The Super Stakes is one leg of the NCHA Triple Crown, and sees the top derby and classic-challenge horses take center stage at the association’s first major event of the year. With past champions including big-name stallions Catolena Cashin In, Stevie Rey Von, and Third Edge, winning a title at the Super Stakes is an impressive line on a horses’ black type pedigree.

The event starts with the open aged-event classes before moving into the amateur, International Circuit Championships, and non-pro classes, finally capping off with the crowd-favorite celebrity cutting.
