Each November, nearly 8,000 entries from across the globe converge on the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City to vie for the coveted AQHA world championships and golden globes.
The AQHA World Show brings together top exhibitors, owners, and breeders for three weeks of world-class competition, educational clinics, and a vibrant trade show. Competitors earn their place by accumulating points throughout the year, all for the chance to take home one of more than 100 AQHA World Championships and a share of over $2 million in prizes and awards.
New This Year: Divisional High-Point Awards Debut
This year, AQHA will introduce Divisional High-Point Awards to recognize top performers across multiple disciplines. These awards honor outstanding horse-and-exhibitor teams in amateur and Select divisions, as well as open horses earning the most points in Level 3 competition.
No entry is required—any eligible horse or exhibitor competing in at least two Level 3 classes within a division is automatically considered. Points are tracked on a one-horse, one-exhibitor basis for Amateur and Select competitors, and on the horse for open classes.
High-Point Divisions include:
- Working Western: Ranch riding, reining, cutting, cow horse, and related classes
- Roping/Speed: Roping events, barrel racing, poles, and stake race
- English: Hunter, jumper, and hunt seat classes
- Western: Trail, western pleasure, horsemanship, showmanship, and western riding
Prizes:
- Champion: $4,000, custom Montana Silversmiths buckle, neck ribbon, and cooler
- Reserve Champion: $3,000 and custom cooler
- Bronze Champion: $2,000 and custom cooler
