Reining: 100X Reining Classic Continues in Tulsa
Tulsa, Oklahoma | August 29–September 6 | Tulsa Expo Square
The 100X Reining Classic opened its fourth year in Tulsa Saturday, bringing back its signature classes—the Invitational Futurity, the 100X Stakes and the NARS Futurity and Derby—across nine days with $1.8 million in added money. New for 2026: the NRHA South Central Affiliate Regional Championships now run alongside the marquee classes.
Andrea Fappani and Best Is Yet Too Come (Tim J. Anderson Clark Reining Horses LLC) lead the Level 4 division of the 100X Open 4-Year-Old Stakes after Saturday’s prelims, marking a 224½ ahead of Sept. 5 finals.
100X Open 4-Year-Old Stakes — Level 4 (Prelims)

Cutting: ICHA Futurity & Aged Event
Nampa, Idaho | August 17–27 | Ford Idaho Horse Park
Kenny Platt won two of the three Open titles at Idaho’s Futurity and Aged Event, sweeping the 4-Year-Old Derby and 5/6-Year-Old Classic in the same week.
Kenny Platt and Mazeratis Mink (Metallic Rey Mink x Daisy Poochanan) topped the 4-Year-Old Open Derby at the Idaho Cutting Horse Association’s Futurity and Aged Event with a 222, earning $13,000 for owner Dwayne Haselip.
Platt turned around and won the 5/6-Year-Old Open Classic too, riding LBR Hangem (Dual Reyish x Hangem High Pep) to a 228 and another $13,000, this time for the Shotty Syndicate.
The 3-Year-Old Open Futurity went to Shaun Tree and Vince Vaun (Stevie Rey Von x Our Special Kitten), owned by Blake Christensen, at 222 for $13,000, edging out Morgan Cromer and Wild Metal.
Away from the Open divisions, Debbie Day and Metallic Minx (Metallic Rey Mink x X Marks The Spot) won the 4-Year-Old Non Pro at 219 for $2,501.50 aboard the Dacole Investment Company mare, and Kenny Platt and Joe Cool Is Hot (Hottish x Lil Jackson Cat) topped the 5/6-Year-Old $4,000 Novice Horse division at 221 for $4,740, owned by Dannica Percevich.

Heralded as atop four NRHA event worldwide, the High Roller Reining Classic is produced by Brumley Management Group.
Reined Cow Horse: Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity
Reno, Nevada | September 11–20 | Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center
The original Snaffle Bit Futurity was founded in Reno in 1970 and stayed there for most of its history before NRCHA’s own officially-branded futurity relocated to Fort Worth.
Ranch Events, Reining: All American Quarter Horse Congress
Columbus, Ohio | September 26–October 24 | Ohio Expo Center
The Congress runs its full slate of AQHA, NRHA and NCHA-sanctioned classes over four weeks at the Ohio Expo Center—the largest single-breed horse show in the world. Congress covers far more than ranch and reining classes, but that’s the lane for this report—stick to those two disciplines when covering results here.
Cutting: Brazos Bash
Weatherford, Texas | September 28–October 13 | Bosque Ranch Headquarters
Billed as the biggest NCHA-approved premier aged event in terms of added money—3-year-old, 4/5/6-year-old and 7 & Up Open, Non Pro and Amateur futurity/derby divisions across more than two weeks, put on by Bosque Ranch Events.
