The 2026 APHA World Championship Show kicked off Friday, June 19, 2026, with more than $1.5 million in cash and prizes up for grabs—$118,500 for the ranch events alone.
The ranch classes take place during the second half of the show, June 29–July 4, condensing time that competitors need to spend at the show. Between the APHA slate of classes, the IRHA World Show offerings, the Triple Crown Challenge and ranch riding futurities, the opportunities at the 2026 APHA World Show are plentiful.
The 2026 ranch events feature:
– $27,000 added for Paint-only ranch classes
– $40,000 added for all-breed IRHA Ranch Horse Triple Crown Challenge classes (Open & Non-Pro) (Plus $12,500 in bonuses for Triple Crown winners)
– $30,000 added for all-breed IRHA Ranch Horse Futurity classes (Open & Non-Pro)
– $9,000 added for all-breed IRHA world championships (Open, Non-Pro & Youth)
