Gallop down to Tennessee to witness the beauty and versatility of the American mustang in action. After trainers are selected for the event, they pick up their untouched mustang in March, from a BLM corral. These mares and geldings are usually between 4 and 7, and trainers have around 100 days to work their magic and prepare for the event. After the training period, mustangs and trainers compete in a variety of classes. Finalists in the adult division move on to more advanced classes, including a freestyle performance of their choosing. Youth trainers show off their skills as well, during in-hand classes. As a culmination of the event, all horses will be available for competitive bid adoption on Saturday, June 24.
