A suckling foal in Montréal-Nord, Quebec, recently died from salmonellosis. The foal experienced a decline in energy over the past three weeks, as well as an intermittent cough and weight loss. In the past week, the foal’s general condition worsened. Salmonellosis was confirmed by fecal test.
