The team of Caylee Cargile and Londan Dickson made a bold entrance onto the national stage at the 2025 Cinch RSNC World Finals, clinching the win in the Mil-Spec #6/4 class with a standout performance that earned them the World Champion title, $16,048, and a lineup of fantastic prizes, courtesy of class sponsor and Mil-Spec founder Steele Hunter and Professional’s Choice, who supplied the buckles.
Competing against a field of talented sorters, Cargile hailing from Robstown, Texas, and Dickson, from Conway, Arkansas, had only one goal: walk away with the Mil-Spec #6/4 title and the hefty payout that came with it.
“We tried to make a game plan,” said Cargile, who rode her 16-year-old AQHA gelding, “Cat.” “But the real plan was, there’s no other option but to win.”
And win they did. Sorting 29 head in 209.97 seconds over four rounds, Cargile and Dickson rose to the top of the field with a smooth run. The announcers commented on their composure and teamwork, noting how Londan handled the pressure in the back and Cargile kept her cool as the #3 cow got pushy. The pair rode in as the eighth team out, climbed to the top of the leaderboard early on, and stayed there.
“It was great. A lot of fun,” Cargile said of her first World Finals experience. “It was a lot bigger than I expected.”
Cargile’s lifetime earnings before the class stood at just $147. After her #6/4 performance, where she also claimed third place in the class, she’s walking away with more than $8,000 added to her RSNC record.
“It’s a huge jump,” she told Amy Wilson after the win. “It’ll help me out a lot and encourage me to keep going at it.”
Dickson has already cut his teeth on a World Finals win in 2024, where he took home the Western Heritage 3 & Below championship with his dad, Thomas.
When asked what stood out about his 2025 victory and what he enjoyed most about their winning run, Dickson, who rode 2019 gelding Lookee Yonder (Hottish x Reycy Moon), didn’t mince words.
“Winning.”
