In this episode, Emily caught up with Joel Lesh to talk about ranch sorting and what the future of the sport looks like.

Joel, from Stillwater, Oklahoma, grew up on horseback riding with his family and watched the Cinch RSNC organization begin from a grassroots perspective. Since the organization’s start in 2007, Lesh has earned more than $440,000, earning him the number one ranked spot and placing him in the Cinch RSNC Hall of Fame.

In a rapidly growing sport, Joel is excited for the future of ranch sorting and works closely with youth and beginner adult rides to make the discipline welcoming to all. In this episode of The Ride Podcast, he shares insight into getting started in ranch sorting and some tips for beginners to use to level up their rides.
