Peter DeFreitas is an NRHA professional based in Whitesboro, Texas, where he raises, trains, and competes at the open level while also coaching non-pro riders. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the reining industry, Peter began riding and showing at a young age and grew up learning from some of the sport’s most influential horsemen. With decades of experience and a program known for developing successful young horses, Peter recently crossed the NRHA Million Dollar Rider milestone, a testament to his consistency, horsemanship, and long-term approach to training.
