It’s the last week of July and the focus was on Texas, where the 100x Shows hosted the Brazos Slide in Waco while the NCHA Summer Spectacular entered its final stretch in Fort Worth, awarding the Non Pro Championship titles.

Non Pro Classic/Challenge Finals

  • 1. Kathleen Moore and Jazlyn (Kathleen Moore, 225.0, $19,658.82)—Moore had shown the 6-year-old mare only once before this week; the win pushed Jazlyn past $500,000 in lifetime earnings. Read the story here.

  • 3. M Todd Quirk and Bet On Blk (Plantation Farms LLC, 218.0, $14,831.61).

  • 5. Kade Smith and Axil Rollz (Greg Smith, 214.5, $12,249.05).

The Non Pro Int. Derby championship also went out this week: Emma Grace Rapp topped the field aboard Dontt Cha (Philip & Mary Ann Rapp, 219.0, $9,455.05).

Reining: 100X Brazos Slide

The 10-day event wrapped Sunday at the Extraco Events Center.

Open Derby Level 4 Championship

Open Futurity Level 4 Championship

Open Futurity Level 4 Championship

Tie at the top between Marco Ricotta/Pretty Girlz Walk and Luca Fappani/Back In Blaq at 145.5 ($3,293.99 each), then a tie for 3rd and a tie for 5th.

Non Pro Futurity Level 4 Championship

Kim L. Muehlstaetter tops the level four aboard MS Sub Zero at 140.5 ($4,631.67).
