NCHA Open Hall of Fame cutting horse trainer Cara Brewer talks about why the only place you want to beat a cow to is the stop. She explains how this is part of the control your horse has over the cow and why it’s so important in cutting.

About Cara Brewer

Cara Brewer’s career as a professional horse trainer was jumpstarted by winning the NCHA Super Stakes aboard Playin Tag (Playgun x Peppys Rey Jay) in 2004. Since then, Brewer has made her mark on the cutting industry, with lifetime earnings in excess of $1,654,042 and a seat in the NCHA Hall of Fame. Together with her husband, she owns and operates a training facility along with a ranching operation in Jay, Oklahoma. Brewer specializes in training, lessons, and sales for all levels of horses and caters to all types of amateurs and non pros.
