World Show Update: Three More World Champions Crowned

In case you missed yesterday’s coverage on social media platforms, here’s an update on Wednesday, November 19, performances.Open-week competitionis well underway and more than a few world champions have been crowned.

JuniorWestern pleasurefinished with a win from Only A Breeze shown by Rusty Green. The sorrel mare is by Invitation Only, the sire that just surpassed Zippo Pine Bar as the American Quarter Horse Association’s all-time leading sire. Following the pair was Chasing A Dream ridden by Shane Dowdy and Hot Lopin Goodbar ridden by Katie Green.

Bradley Ost piloted UF A Certain Star to a world championship title in the juniorWestern ridingfinals. My Vital Valentine by RL Best of Sudden, and ridden byChad Evans, followed with the reserve win and It’s a Southern Thing was close behind (only a half point separated reserve and third-place honors).

It seems that RL Best of Sudden has many successful offspring in the show pen this year. Another of his get finished fourth in the Jr. Western pleasure. We’ll catch up with Ken Masterson, owner of the stallion, later this week as a part of our #WalkInOurBoots and #FarnamSuperhorse social programs.

A thrilling display of athleticism filled the arena as junior horses fought their way to a world title in the open working cow horse. The competition was stiff. Among the field was2014 NRCHA Hackamore Classic duo Rubys Radar and Zane Davis, along with#FarnamSuperhorse contenderRubiesscoobiedoobie and Brad Lund. In the end, the two blondies took the world and reserve world champion titles. Congratulations to A Lil Dab Will Do, the palomino gelding shown by Robert Chown. The pair edged out High Brow Shiner and Doug Williamson by one point.
