Cinch Smarts

Never unfasten your saddle’s front cinch before undoing the back one. If your horse were to shake or spook, the saddle could slip down around his back legs, causing a wreck. Similarly, don’t leave your horse standing with the front cinch too loose, which could lead to the saddle’s slipping underneath him.
