Dressage4Kids holds its 11th annual weekend educational program.

Lendon Gray’s Dressage4kids will hold its 11th annual Weekend Educational Program on February 9 and 10, 2013 at Nonnewaug High School, 5 Minortown Road, Woodbury, CT. Horse-related seminars will be offered on many topics including, but not limited to: riding skills and theory, horse management, stable management, fitness, writing, drawing and photography. Sessions are geared to school-aged children and adults.

On Saturday, February 9, Rex Peterson and Cari Swanson will leave the New York City movie set of “A Winter’s Tale” to come speak about training horses for motion pictures. Rex learned from Glenn Randall, Sr., a master horseman who trained all the Triggers, the horses in Ben Hur and other Hollywood films. Rex has trained horses for dozens of films including Black Beauty, The Black Stallion, Hidalgo, and Secretariat.
