Horse&Rider OnDemand Launches New Fully-Loaded Membership Tier, Horse&Rider OnDemand+

Boulder, Colorado—March 7, 2022 – Horse&Rider OnDemand is taking their Western horse-training videos up a notch with Horse&Rider OnDemand+.

Horse&Rider OnDemand+ gives you the high-quality, insightful training advice you’ve come to expect from Horse&Rider plus even more access to trainers and videos, more opportunities to learn, and more discounts! New trainers appearing exclusively on the new membership tier include multiple NRHA Futurity and NRHA Derby finalist, and NRBC Champion Peter DeFreitas and multiple world and reserve world champion and Quarter Horse trainer Robin Frid.

After working for both NRHA Professional Mike McEntire and Sam Smith, DeFreitas began his career as the resident trainer for Double Run Farm of Leland, North Carolina before moving to Whitesboro, Texas, where he currently resides. DeFreitas’ program continues to develop and flourish. In his series on Horse&Rider OnDemand+, DeFreitas goes over the basics of working with a 2-year-old reining prospect and demonstrates how he teaches his young horses basic fundamentals and reining maneuvers. He then works with his 3- and 4-year-old horses so you can see how your horse should progress over the next couple of years. He’ll also show you some of his favorite go-to reining bits, and show you how to troubleshoot any problems you’re having and how you can fix them.

Based in Pilot Point, Texas, Robin Frid is a household name in the Quarter Horse all-around industry. As a 25-year veteran of the competitive Quarter Horse circuit, he and his business partner and wife, Jenny, have produced some of the most talented, and awarded horsewomen and -men in the last decade. At their facility, they focus on all-round events like showmanship, equitation, horsemanship, trail, and Western riding helping clients of all ages and levels achieve their goals. Together Robin and Jenny have trained more than 40 world and reserve world champion riders, and more than 75 All American Quarter Horse Congress champions and reserve Congress champions. Frid is also a highly sought after judge for both national and international Quarter Horse competitions, judging some of the biggest competitions in the world. In his series for Horse&Rider OnDemand+, he shows you how to master different trail class obstacles, and shows you how he schools his green horses and more seasoned horses over poles. Then he goes into the importance of pattern placement for events like Western riding, before ending his video series on basic drills you can do at home to improve your horsemanship skills for the show pen.
