In November, the NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) hosts one of the fastest-growing and most prestigious equine events at the OKC Fairgrounds—the NRHA Futurity & Adequan Championship Show. This premier reining competition attracts participants from over 20 countries and boasts a purse of more than $2 million in prizes.
The event, which made its debut back in 1966 in Columbus, Ohio, showcases three-year-old horses competing for coveted NRHA Futurity Champion titles. In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy horse sales and an expansive trade show featuring western apparel, home décor, gifts, and equine products.

This year NRHyA is supporting Make-A-Wish Oklahoma by hosting a teen toy drive at the Futurity. Make-A-Wish toy drives benefit the children whose wishes are being granted by providing them with new, unwrapped toys and gifts.
