Cinch RSNC Adds $4K APHA Chrome Cash Futurity Incentive to Lineup
Debuting at the 2025 Cinch RSNC World Finals is the APHA Chrome Cash Incentive, which pays $4,000 to ranch sorters competing on APHA registered mounts in the futurity classes in 2025.

In a new partnership with the American Paint Horse Association, the Cinch RSNC is featuring a $4,000 Chrome Cash incentive for ranch sorters competing aboard APHA-registered horses in the 2025 Pro and Non-Pro Futurity classes.

At first glance, Cattinlilreycat — aka “The Freak” — owned by Nelson Mas appears to be a typical sorrel, but he and horses like him may be eligible to register with the APHA. If they’re also futurity-aged, they can compete in the new Cinch RSNC Chrome Cash incentives. Andersen/C Bar C Photography

What is the Chrome Cash Incentive?

The APHA Chrome Cash incentive is a new program available to Cinch RSNC members beginning in June at the 2025 World Finals in Fort Worth. The dynamic new program is designed specifically for ranch sorters who compete on registered Paint Horses. This initiative brings exciting new earning opportunities to one of the fastest-growing equestrian sports.

The Chrome Cash Incentive offers added cash reward to riders competing on Regular Registry and Solid Paint-Bred horses at select ranch sorting events. By riding a registered Paint Horse, participants become eligible for exclusive payouts and prizes.

Why participate?

  • Cash Payouts: Ranch Sorters can earn extra money simply by competing on registered Paint Horses.
  • Breed Visibility: The program encourages greater use and visibility of American Paint Horses in the sport of ranch sorting.
  • Community Recognition: Participants join a network of dedicated Paint Horse enthusiasts and gain recognition within both the ranch sorting and Paint Horse communities.
  • Exclusive Opportunities: Be among the first to benefit from this pioneering incentive at Cinch RSNC events.

How to compete for Chrome Cash

  1. Register your Futurity Horse: Ensure your horse is registered with APHA under either the Regular Registry or Solid Paint-Bred category.
  2. Enter Cinch RSNC Chrome Cash classes: Participate in eligible ranch sorting events that have partnered with APHA to offer Chrome Cash payouts.
