Cinch RSNC State Finals Explained: Standings, Prizes and Top 5 States of 2025
These top five states will be awarding a special prize line to their top finalists. Discover which states made the cut and how your state can qualify for its own State Finals.

The Cinch RSNC State Finals reward ranch sorters across the United States by combining points earned at sanctioned events with prize lines that celebrate competitors at every level. While the Cinch RSNC is an international association, it’s the local producers and the ranch sorters who support them that make the program thrive.

What Are the Cinch RSNC State Finals?

Each year, states that host Cinch RSNC–sanctioned events can qualify to hold a State Finals. These events allow ranch sorters to compete for year-end recognition, championship titles and exclusive awards.

How States Qualify for the Finals

  • Five or more sanctioned events: States with at least five Cinch RSNC events in a calendar year qualify to host a State Finals.
  • Top five producing states: The five states with the most sanctioned events earn a full prize line for sorters across all divisions—Masters, Open, Amateur, Novice, Rookie and Youth.
  • Full prize line: States with 10+ events award prizes to the top five competitors in each division.
  • Limited prize line: States with 5–9 events award a first-place prize in each division.

In 2025, the top five states* with the most sanctioned events are:

  • Texas
  • California
  • Florida
  • Wyoming
  • Colorado
