Howdy from Fort Worth

For one year, and one year only, the National Finals Rodeo and Cowboy Christmas will be held in Texas.

Normally this time of year the top cowboys and cowgirls in rodeo are turning Las Vegas into cowboy town, but this year—due to COVID-19—the athletes are heading to Texas instead. With the usual excitement that surrounds the National Finals Rodeo, comes the same daytime activities. Fans travel far and wide to watch rodeo at night and shop during the day. And this temporary move means that you can still get the NFR experience as you shop your favorite brands, watch live events, and get athlete autographs at Cowboy Christmas at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Free to the public, Cowboy Christmas is open daily (Dec. 3-12) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Shopping

With more than 225 unique exhibitors, with items including Western wear, custom jewelry, original art, leather goods, handmade crafts, furniture, and tack, there’s something for everyone. If you’re unable to attend, you can shop the vendors virtually here.

Rodeo Live Stage Action

The Rodeo Live Stage presented by REMF brings live events each day hosted by Flint Rasmussen at noon and Shane Minor at 1:15 p.m. Watch these live performers during the Cowboy Revival hosted by Shane.

Located at the heart of Cowboy Christmas is NFR Central presented by Resorts World Las Vegas. You won’t want to miss the acoustic performances, giveaways, autograph sessions, and contests that will be featured in this area.

Junior World Finals

Can’t wait all day to see rodeo action? Head over to Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth to watch the Junior World Finals presented by Yeti. More than 800 contestants will compete over the course of 10 days. Purchase admission tickets onsite for $10.
