Blind Horse Competes

Trust is all it takes for a blind horse to be competitive.

This month, the Your Stories section of Horse&Rider features a young woman and her horse who competed against all odds. Stormy is completely blind, but because of his trust in Beka, the gelding is able to do everything he did before he lost his sight. Check out this video that was the pair’s submission for entry to the 2011 Versatile Horse and Rider Competition at the Ohio Equine Affaire.
