Introduction to Sliding Stops: Using the Fence

In this reining training video, Brad Barkemeyer shows you how to teach your horse a sliding stop by using a fence.

Once you can stop your horse in a straight line at the walk, trot, and lope, you can use this fence drill to help your horse stop and engage his hindquarters.
