Reiners from across North America are invited to submit their names for this invitation-only performance. Fourteen riders compete for a purse of more than $27,000, under the bright lights of the National Western Stock Show (NWSS).

In the heart of Denver, Colorado, the NWSS is an exhibition of agriculture, equestrian, and livestock education and competition. Among other popular events, the RAM Invitational Freestyle Reining is a crowd pleaser, featuring riders showcasing the athleticism, power, and talent of the reining horse. With a purse of $27,500, this event stands alone as the richest freestyle reining event in the country. Top professionals in the reining industry are consulted to offer selection advice, and 14 excellent riders will be chosen to demonstrate their skills. The allure of the event resides in the freedom of freestyle reining that allows riders to use costumes, props, and special effects that bring the crowd to their feet.
